The Village Board approved the concept/master plan for CTH N at their August 27th board meeting. The plan calls for commercial development along CTH N with sites similar to the commercial property along CTH KK. The plan also includes public spaces for a future fire station and intergenerational housing.
Forward thinking communities develop concept/master plans to help interested parties make informed decisions regarding site selections, financial viability, scale to deliver the best return on investment to balance both residents needs as well as developer needs. Most plans change over time based on current market conditions and other factors.
Community input will be gathered when an actual project/development is submitted for land use approvals by the Village, which at that time public notification, if required by village ordinance, will be made.
The village will use this master plan as a marketing tool to encourage interested parties to partner with Village to develop this space.
